Football

I realize that football is important to many men but you are extreme. Maybe you should have stayed with the girl that couldn't wait for football season just like you. You told her that this was the time of year the your wife is the most on your case and she said she was sorry to hear that and couldn't wait for the games to begin. You forgot to mention that football is ALL you are passionate about. You forgot to mention that this is the time of year that you pay even less attention to your family. That this is the time of year when you punch the couch and walls and scream at the television like a mad man but show no emotion about anything else. I wish you had remembered to mention that too. It pisses me off that you show that much emotion about a game that doesn't concern you but can't even seem to crack a smile when your son tells you about a math test he scored 100% on. I mean he text you and waited all day to tell you about his grade and your response was so dry it made me sick. It wasn't until I told you that he was hype about it that you forced out a cheer (which sounded fake). You can't do anything outside if the norm and you don't seem to care about much but that DAMN game. Maybe if Sam and I put on helmets and shoulder pads and run around hitting each other we would be just as important as the guys in the game. The games come on and must be watched. The games go off and we have to listen to sports radio to recap what we just watched. All of that would be fine if any other part if your life was as important. Your tomb stone will read "HE LOVED EVERYTHING FOOTBALL". I'm trying to be smart but now that I think about it you would probably like that. SMDH
